Is the cost of international flights and or the domestic flights included in the trip price?

No, the cost of international and domestic flights is not included in our prices. Our price is including the component of the trip in Egypt excluding both international and domestic flights. However, in our tour price, you may find a separate cost indicated for domestic flights for your guidance and perusal.

What time should I arrive on day 1 and depart on the final day?

Like almost everywhere else, check in time to your hotel is not before 02.00 PM, thus any time after 02.00 PM will be ok. In case your flight arrival time will be very late or earlier than 02.00 PM, we will have to be notified to inform the hotel of your expected time of arrival. Early check in and late check-out is sometimes possible to be arranged subject to availability, separate confirmation and acceptance of hotels and or cruises booked has to be obtained for such cases.

Typically, what is the age of people traveling with you?

No restrictions on age, as all ages are welcome. For adventure tours (Safari, Diving etc.), we recommend ages between 25 and 55 years old, with good health conditions. For Nile Cruise programs, walking disabled clients cannot join as no wheel chairs can fit to the programs.

Are your tours suitable for families?

Yes, most of our tour programs are suitable for families, however unless requested and confirmed, very young children and older people are the responsibility of accompanying family.

I am single - do you have many single travelers and do I need to pay a single supplement?

We do have a number of single travelers who undertake our tours. Generally, if you are happy to share a room with another single traveler, then you do not need to pay the single supplement if we have another single traveler of the same sex. For pre and post accommodation, you will need to pay the single supplement. For tailor made itineraries and special trips, single travelers will need to pay the single supplement if we cannot pair you up with another single traveler of the same sex.

I would rather undertake a tailor-made tour. Can Book Nile Cruise arrange this for me?

Absolutely. In addition to set departure tours, we do indeed specialize in tailor made touring arrangements. Just let us know what you have in mind and we will arrange a personal quotation bespoke to your individual requirements.

I came to know that I can obtain my visa upon arrival to Egypt. Is that correct and what is the procedure and the cost?

United States, Canada, Western Europe, UK, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan all can obtain a visa on arrival. Other countries need to check with their nearest Egyptian embassy or contact us for verifications. Our representative will assist you inside the immigration hall and will obtain the visa for you. The cost is US$ 30  per person. As for rest of nationalities, please check with us before your arrival and we will guide you.

Visitors entering Egypt at the overland border post at Taba, to visit the Gulf of Aqaba coast Sharm El Sheik, Dahab, Taba, Nuweiba, and St.Catherine, can be exempt from requiring a visa and be granted a free residence permit, valid for fourteen days, to visit the area (You cannot visit Cairo in this case though).

Do I have to pay any charges or fees for using my camera during touring around in Egypt?

There are no longer any fees for camera or video camera use in the outdoors only. For indoor use, it is prohibited in most of places if having flash. Your escorting guide will advise you the appropriate regulations in every visited place or site as rules may vary from one place to another.

Do you have 24 hours/7 days a week contact with your staff through mobile phones? during our trip?

Sure, our working staffs have mobile phones and walkie-talkies. Mobile service is available 24 hours in all destinations of Egypt and our staff is in thorough contact with us throughout the period of your trip.

What about tipping?

Regarding this point, we would like to clarify that tipping is a familiar and common trend in Egypt. It is to be paid for the people who serve you in every destination during your trip such as the porters in the airport, station, port or in hotels, Nile cruises, drivers, guides etc.

When is the best season to go?

In general fall (October and November) and spring (April and May), but any other season will be perfect too: winter for Nile cruise and sightseeing in the south of the country, and summer for leisure on the beach and water sports.

Where are the finest beaches?

On the Red Sea and in the Sinai, where mountains run all the way along the coastline. The beaches are often narrow and rocky, but they have been well developed. Along the Mediterranean Coast, there are an increasing number of resorts along the Marsa Matrouh road.

Is it possible to book a Nile cruise once in Egypt?

Yes, it is. Possibilities include a trip in a felucca, a trip along the Nile at sunset, or a several-day cruise.

Where can you find real Egyptian cuisine?

What souvenirs should I bring back home?

Gold and silver jewelry and semi-precious stones, Bedouin embroidery from the Sinai, basket ware, cotton linen, papyrus, rugs, blown glass, spices, etc.
